The redwoods at Big Basin State Park aren't the most photogenic of trees. You have to work pretty hard for interesting shots. I don't think I worked hard enough here. I was more interested in hacking out the camera settings anyway, so I'm actually kind of happy with the quality of this photo aside from the dull composition. Big Basin is a great place for a hike in the woods, not so great for photography, at least from my limited experience.
