The Estuary

Truth be told, I'm not big on sunset shots.  I love that late afternoon light, of course, and I'll grab the sunset photos that fall in my lap, but I don't go out of the way for them.  I came across this scene while walking home a couple of years ago.  This is about one block from my house.  Alameda is on the left, Oakland on the right.  The High Street Bridge is in the background, and behind it can be seen the shadow of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin.  I thought the water was looking particularly pretty so I grabbed a few shots.
